Nearly 100 Republican candidates seeking Federal, State, and Local positions joined together Friday morning for a conference call banding together as a united front.

“We are the Republican Party and we are stronger than ever,” said Idaho Republican Party Chairman Norm Semanko. “Idaho is the example and Washington D.C. is the problem.”

We, as the Idaho Republican Party, unite behind the values of fiscal responsibility, constitutional government, and growing the economy. And we will do everything we can to fight for the conservative values that Idahoans so dearly treasure and live by daily.

“This is going to be a banner year for the GOP,” said Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter. “Together, we will provide the leadership necessary to get our state and our country moving the right direction. It is encouraging to see the entire team come together as one. It is truly an energizing feeling.”

On Tuesday, Governor Otter helped cut the ribbon on the new Idaho Vandals store on Idaho Street in Downtown Boise. Alongside Governor Otter was University of Idaho President Duane Nellis.

The Governor spoke of how during their first meeting, they talked about how to create partnerships and grow the economy! And to this day, that is a major priority for both of them. For instance, Governor Otter created Project 60 created to partner and empower Idaho businesses and local organizations with government support to not only preserve current Idaho jobs but establish a safe environment where taxes are low and stable. By educating Idaho’s current workforce in new areas of expertise and offering up a secure tax environment, we will be able to attract companies outside the borders of Idaho that will generate opportunity, jobs, and security.

Welcome to downtown Boise Vandal Store!
